Generally, industrial pumps can ignore the leakage in the pipeline system in the process flow, but the influence on the flow rate when the process changes should be considered. If agricultural pumps use open channels to transport water, leakage and evaporation must also be considered.
5. Pressure: suction pool pressure, drainage pool pressure, pressure drop (head loss) in the piping system.
6. Pipeline system data (pipe diameter, length, type and number of pipe accessories, geometric elevation from the suction tank to the pressure tank, etc.).
If necessary, the device characteristic curve should also be drawn.

Determination of flow
a. If the production process has given small, normal and large flow, it should be considered according to the large flow.
b. If only normal flow is given in the production process, a margin should be considered. For large flow rate pumps with ns>100 and low unintended lift, the flow margin should be 5%. For small flow rate high lift pumps with ns<50, the flow margin should be 10%. For pumps with 50≤ns≤100, the flow margin is also Take 5%, and for pumps with poor quality and poor operating conditions, the flow margin should be taken as 10%.
